Throughout history the vessel has the symbol and function of abundance, something carried, stored or held. I look at my bronze vessels seeing the story on the outside and knowing there is more to the inside. Working on the material from clay, to glowing molten bronze this finished work now looks pliable, malleable and impressionable. This reliquary contains the power of being altered by experience. The intangible space inside transports valuable wisdom, like an unearthed ancient relic. Listening to others, I hear stories, emotions, and inspirations of life. The leather tethers hanging in the center of these vessels symbolize the gathering of wisdom. This work is a timeless bronze vessel that carries your intentions forward.”
